We are taking the SempreMilan Insider community to the next level...

Exciting news alert! Having played around with the Substack chat feature over the last few months, resulting in some great interactions with our paid members, we have decided to take our community to the next level by launching a Discord server (invite link at the bottom of the page). In addition to facilitating and improving the chat feature, the server will help us launch new features and interact with you in many different ways.

We are hoping that this change will…

• Improve the group chat feature, eliminating the bugs of Substack’s platform and allowing us to have a proper structure, such as a separate channel for pod questions.

• Bring us even closer to you, potentially even hosting live Q&As and get-togethers in the future.

• Promote discussions and debates among devoted Milan fans, with little to no moderation.

• Help SempreMilan Insider grow, as we enter an era with more community features and new content ideas (to be announced).

As mentioned, we have really enjoyed engaging with our paid members in the Substack chat over the last few months. Getting closer to our readers was the whole point of launching SempreMilan Insider and the group chat was a step in the right direction, though not without its shortcomings. After all, compared to a platform like Discord, Substack is not as developed on the community front.

Of course, Substack remains the foundation with the newsletter, bonus podcast, and bonus articles, but we hope that the addition of a Discord server will help us engage with you even more. Indeed, in addition to the group chat, hosting live Q&As and get-togethers in the future will be much easier on that platform. Not to mention that everything is a lot more structured, such as having a separate channel for pod questions.
