Cardinale's frustration grows over important issue [Bonus article]
Gerry Cardinale has been the owner of AC Milan for a year and a half now, and some could argue that it hasn’t been all that successful for the American. At least not on the pitch, but we have to highlight the corporate side of things as the Rossoneri made a profit for the first time since 2006. Nevertheless, Cardinale’s frustration is growing.
Cardinale and RedBird officially took over the club from compatriots Elliott Management in August of 2022, but the deal was actually agreed already in May. In any case, Milan's first season was a financial success but the fans were left frustrated as the team only narrowly secured a top-four finish.
This season hasn’t exactly been better for the fans, as the summer enthusiasm quickly vanished due to the injury crisis. It’s very difficult to predict what the outcome of this season will be, but Milan are certainly up against it. In the meantime, Cardinale’s frustration over one key issue is growing, which we will discuss today.
