Meeting the Milan Media: Alessandro Jacobone [Bonus Article]

Welcome to the fifth edition of Meeting the Milan Media! In this series, we interview the journalists who cover AC Milan on a daily basis, getting to know them and their occupation better. This time we spoke to the brilliant Alessandro Jacobone, whose face might be a familiar one for Milan fans as he regularly features on TV and streaming shows.

In Italy, and in many other countries for that matter, it’s common to see journalists specialised in certain aspects of the industry. While some might focus most of their efforts on columns or written content, others might turn to the camera to express their opinions and deliver news. Gianluca Di Marzio is known for the latter and so too is Jacobone, who has become a very recognisable figure in the Milan environment.

In the interview below, we get to the bottom of why Alessandro became a journalist, how long he has been in the field and what the biggest challenges are for him on a day-to-day basis. Furthermore, we ask about his new ‘Milan Community’ project with the well-known pundit Luca Serafini, as well as the recent ownership criticism the Rossoneri have faced.
