The storm has passed, but most AC Milan fans are probably still beaming from the dramatic 1-0 win against Genoa, and who can blame them? It was a typical frustrating clash and even after the Rossoneri had broken the deadlock, the tension remained. However, that ending made it all worthwhile.

Ignoring the crazy ending for a moment, let’s talk about how we got there. Milan headed into the clash with a lack of energy due to their encounter with Borussia Dortmund just three days earlier (both away games one should add). A schedule that rightfully was heavily questioned by the fans.
