Another stadium update, you say? A lot has been made about AC Milan and Inter’s official statement regarding San Siro, publicly confirming their desire to buy the area from the city council, but it was really far from surprising. At least if you’ve been reading our bonus articles on the stadium pursuit since the start, with the Rossoneri opting to keep two options alive.

It was on Tuesday last week that Milan and Inter announced their proposal for the San Siro stadium and area. The important thing to note here is that they did it without Inter, leaving the Zhang family - who were the owners of the Nerazzurri then - out in the cold. As a result, talks between the clubs were brought to a halt.
