The San Donato project is moving forward at great speed and AC Milan fans can really start to dream about a stadium of their own. The bureaucratic hoops still exist, don’t get us wrong, but they are no longer expected to be an issue for the Rossoneri as opposed to the San Siro project.
Milan and Inter have completely abandoned the idea of building a new stadium together in the San Siro, mainly because of the historical constraint due next year which will make such a project illegal. In other words, this village will not just be for matchdays but instead aims to entice visitors 24/7. Of course, this is also something that vastly increases the revenue opportunities.
So, more specifically, what is the San Francesco project all about? We have already done a few bonus articles on the area but we feel it’s time for a new one, with the latest developments included. And for this, we must give a special mention to Radio Rossonera and their director Simone Cristao, who have been on top of the subject since the very beginning.
