Corporate rotation at Milan: Par for the course? [Bonus Article]
Just in the last couple of years, there have been several personnel changes to the commercial department of AC Milan. A lot of it has to do with Gerry Cardinale’s takeover and the increased ‘American mentality’ on this front, but there are also a few other factors at play. Recent reports suggest that we could be heading for even more rotation, so is this just par for the course?
Milan’s accounts for the 2023-24 financial year were recently presented at the shareholders’ meeting and of course, we took a closer look at this in a previous bonus article. From that, we could see that the commercial results have continued to improve, with everything marketing-related experiencing a huge boom as the club’s brand is growing stronger.
At the same time, according to reports from the newspaper La Repubblica, there could be some major changes to the department as the Chief Marketing Officer Tania Moreno looks set to leave the club. And this also comes as Chief Business Officer Roberto Masi - who joined before RedBird - has announced his exit. So, is there any truth to these rumours and how does it affect Milan?
