Program Agreement by June as stadium project receives support [Bonus Article]
It’s been said many times in the last few months, but AC Milan have truly taken great steps forward in their stadium pursuit. The last time we did a Substack update, the San Donato council had just given its initial ‘ok’ to the project and progress has been made since. Indeed, the project is now up for a Program Agreement, which should kick off in June.
From presenting their project to the San Donato council, making several changes along the way, to buying the San Francesco area for a fee of around €40m, Milan are taking the matter very seriously. It can now be said that the San Donato council more or less has given their blessing to the project, as evidenced by the official request sent to the Lombardy region for a Program Agreement.
